STUDIO POLICIES
Cynthia Bain's Young Actor Studio's cutting-edge young actor classes are for the young professional or aspiring actor who plays 25 and under. Our studio offers Scene Study Classes with Cynthia, an Improv Program, Acting Camps, as well as Private Coaching, Lessons, Consultations, and Set Preparation. All our classes run on 6-week consecutive-class sessions. For a full list of Studio Policies and Hiatus Dates see below.
Cynthia's classes are primarily scene study with an emphasis on script analysis. At times they also include vocal warm-ups, exercises, improv, and audition technique. Class size is very limited, guaranteeing every student the opportunity to explore scene study in every class. Cynthia's classes are on-going so students may join at any time, however all her classes have wait-lists. To get on a wait-list, please contact the studio. The Friday Advanced Class requires an audit or invitation prior to being placed on the wait-list.
Once your first 6-week session ends, you have the option to continue for another 6-week session or be placed back on the wait-list for a future opening. Once enrolled in a class, you may continue for as many consecutive sessions as you want without going back on the wait-list.
If you are on a wait-list already please know that we will contact you as soon as a spot becomes available. The wait time varies, but at times it can be up to 6 months.

| START/DURATION |
Please plan to arrive on time and stay for the entire class in your session. This is important for your growth as well as that of your scene partner. |
| BREAK TIME |
There is a short break built halfway into every class. Jamba Juice is available in the building. No food is allowed inside the theatre. Eating is allowed in the lobby. |
| ABSENCE POLICY |
There are no make-ups for missed classes. NO EXCEPTIONS. For extended absences see below. |
| BREAK POLICY |
After completing one six-week session, students may apply for "break status" to hold their remaining classes in a session if going on an extended leave of absence. Application must be made two weeks in advance and the break must be for two or more consecutive weeks within a paid-for session. A student may apply for break status only once per six-week session. A student going on break is required to give a return date and all unused classes will expire six months after the date the break begins. |
| TUITION |
Tuition is due on or before the first class or private coaching.
All tuition is non-refundable. |
